ChargePanel and Vattenfall InCharge enter into a roaming agreement

ChargePanel AB (publ) (“ChargePanel” or the “Company”) announces that the Company has entered into a roaming agreement with Vattenfall InCharge AB. This collaboration enables ChargePanel users to charge their electric vehicles at Vattenfall charging stations and improves access to charging opportunities for electric vehicle drivers in Sweden. The agreement will add over 6,700 public charging points to ChargePanel’s roaming network. The collaboration also aims to expand to additional European markets in the future.

Vattenfall’s charging network,Vattenfall InCharge, operates private, public and semi-public charging points across Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany, with more than 6,700 public charging points in Sweden and over 60,000 charging points in the Netherlands and Germany.

Roaming agreement expands charging possibilities  

The roaming agreement between ChargePanel and Vattenfall InCharge enables ChargePanel users to charge their electric vehicles at Vattenfall charging stations using their existing apps and charging cards.

The agreement initially covers Vattenfall InCharge’s entire public and semi-public charging network in Sweden and will facilitate ChargePanel users’ access to approximately 6,700 public fast chargers and destination chargers. In the long term, the collaboration aims to expand the roaming network to the Netherlands and Germany.

By simplifying payment processes and providing access to Vattenfall InCharge’s charging network via roaming, ChargePanel is taking an important step towards improving the charging experience for its users in Sweden and is in line with the government’s call for simpler payment solutions in the electric vehicle sector.
