Technical integration with energy delivery companies in the USA, increasing charging station connections and welcoming new customers

ChargePanel AB (publ) (“ChargePanel” or the “Company”) announces latest updates from the second quarter of 2024, which has been productive. Through strategic collaborations with large energy delivery companies such as National Grid and Eversource in the USA, as well as a significant expansion of its charging station connections and customer base, the Company continues to strengthen its position in the market. The launch of ChargePanel’s latest service Connect Go has also attracted several new customers in various sectors.

ChargePanel has a productive second quarter. In partnership with Blue Planet, a national EV charging company that plans to expand its stations across the United States, the Company has made a technical integration with National Grid (NGRID), one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the United States serving more than 20 million people in New York and Massachusetts, as well as Eversource, New England’s largest energy supplier with 4.4 million customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. ChargePanel’s integration meets data collection requirements and ensures, as far as possible, that EV owners have a consistent and predictable experience when using charging stations under infrastructure programs.

In May, ChargePanel integrated with NOBIL, a Nordic charging station database, to enable customers to report their public charging stations to NOBIL via ChargePanel’s platform, creating a user-friendly and efficient charging experience.

ChargePanel has seen an increase in both WL business customers and charging station connections. New customers include Oddes, VoltWise and POC Energy in Sweden as well as one of the largest car dealers in the UK (in partnership with Energy Force). The number of connected outlets reached a new milestone in May, passing 10,000 connected outlets, with 15,000 outlets expected to be connected before the end of 2024.

In January 2024, the Company launched Connect Go, a charging as a service solution, and is pleased to welcome several new customers to the service, including Swepac, Söderfors Herrgård and Health and Sports Nutrition Group HSNG AB, a leader in the sale of nutritional supplements and health food in the Nordic market consisting of Gymgrossisten.com, Bodystore.com, Proteinfabrikken.no, Bodyman.dk and Fitness Market Nordic. HSNG is owned by the industrial investment company Orkla and is one of twelve independent portfolio companies.

“We are on track for a successful 2024 by continuing the work we initiated in 2023. It’s about more than just setting goals. It’s about following through on our commitments. This includes not only selling and developing our platform but also to constantly deliver high-quality solutions and services in a rapidly changing industry. We expect further sales growth in the coming quarters as our customers’ EV charging networks continue to expand” – Peter Persson, CEO ChargePanel AB (publ).
